As deities wandered the land in weakened states, they engaged in brutal conflicts that mirrored their celestial ambitions. The war was not merely a clash of armies but a struggle for cosmic authority; Mystra sacrificed her life to prevent the Weave from unraveling entirely, marking a pivotal shift in how magic functioned across the realm.
